Task Description: Multi-Media Presentation
Part 1.
Select two scenes from your core text Shoehorn Sonata by John Misto and one scene from your related text.
a) Using Powerpoint or Prezi, ( 5-8 slides) represent your understanding of what makes these scenes distinctively visual. This presentation must include references to auditory techniques (use of sound/music)
b) Your presentation should acknowledge some of the following features, their distinctive emotional and visual impact, their perspectives and/or values:
Images, the choice of words, symbolism, dramatic techniques (lighting, stage directions, sound, gestures, facial expressions, the use of photographs) literary and visual techniques.
Part 2.
A Written explanation: Length - 300 words
Discuss the purpose and intent of your presentation. Include in your discussion, why you have made your scene and stylistic choices and how these represent a distinctively visual perspective.
